The
purpose of this course is to review and analyze offshoring and
outsourcing processes in macroeconomic as well as business perspective
in the EU and the US.
In macroeconomic perspective we will
analyze: factors driving outsourcing, forms of outsourcing, trends in
global outsourcing and offshoring, sources and destinations of global
outsourcing etc.
In business perspective we will study:
reasons making companies to outsource/offshore, basics of planning and
managing outsourcing projects, business case studies of both successful
and unsuccessful business outsourcing projects, etc.
